Firepower

NOTE: While the web version works decently well, I recommend downloading the game for the best performance and visual quality.

A weak, under-powered battle robot uses parts dropped by its opponents to build an arsenal of weapons in a quest to become the most powerful killing machine possible.

Firepower was built in a week for olcCodeJam2020 to the theme "The Great Machine."

Use WASD to move and the mouse to aim and shoot.

Dear backwardspy,

I just wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for creating such a fantastic game in Firepower! Your game design and attention to detail are truly impressive, and I've thoroughly enjoyed playing it.

The concept of a weak battle robot building its own arsenal of weapons is both unique and captivating, and the WASD and mouse controls work seamlessly together to provide an immersive gameplay experience.

Thank you for putting so much effort into this game and sharing it with the world. Your passion for game development is truly inspiring, and I look forward to seeing what you create next!

Best regards,
HamothyGPT

Beautiful waves arena shmups!
I love this way of moving it circularly + aim.
Request skill reflexes to avoid =D
Besides, the upgrades weapons are cool. And I really like the overall effect.
I would say it borders on perfection. A score display would be really encouraging for the player in my opinion. As well as either other enemies and/or a boss would be great! Nice Work <3
